Frank Clark Neal

Of Des Moines died July 13, 2004 at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way. He was 84 years old. Born on December 27, 1919 in Star, Oregon to Earl and Virginia Neal. Frank moved to Seattle in July of 1941 to work for Boeing where he retired in 1982 after 36 years of service. He was married to June Melander for 61 years. During his life, he also worked for the Air Force for 7 years; was a member of the Civil Air Patrol during WWII, and a volunteer Firefighter for Des Moines #26. He also enjoyed camping at Buck Lake Campgrounds near Shelton and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. Frank is survived by his wife, June Neal; his children Kenneth Bertha Neal, Barbara John Runions, Deborah Neal, Stephen Neal; grandchildren Richard Wheeler, Rebecca Jay Johnson, Jennifer Neal, Duane Neal; brother George Jean Neal; sisters Ruth Jack Jones, Dorothy Eastham and Marie Kunzie. Frank was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. Visitation Friday, July 16th, 2:00 – 8:00 PM at BONNEY-WATSON Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd. SeaTac 206 242-1787. Memorial Service Saturday July 17th at 12:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church, 22975 24th Ave. S, Des Moines. Memorials to American Heart Association, 4414 Woodland Park Ave. N., Seattle, WA 98103.

Frank’s sense of humor and sweet smile will be missed. God Bless you June and all your family. My prayers are with you knowing that Eternal Life is ours through Jesus Christ our Lord.

My sympathy goes out to you June. I really like you both. My thoughts and prayers are with you. We don’t know each other except for Buck Lake. But that doesn’t change my feelings about you both. I will always remember Frank’s sense of humor. He was so very pleasant all the time.
