Fred Paul Marra

Obituary

 Fred was the youngest of eight children born to Italian immigrants, Carmine and Maria Pinorini Marra and grew up on the family farm in South Park. He developed a love for cars and engines and became a first-class mechanic. He served for two years in the Army during the Korean War and was stationed at FortLawton with two tours to Alaska. For over forty years, he made his living working in the salmon canning industry on the Seattle waterfront. He met his wife, LauAnn Kerton, in Ballard and they were married from September of 1950 until her death in July of 2010. He is survived by his children, Janie and her husband, Robert, his son Fred, granddaughters, Angela, Pamela, Laura, and Christina, and nine great-grandchildren.
