Obituary
Freda E. (da Silva) Remedios, 94, passed away peacefully while sleeping on Monday, June 24, 2024, in Milton, Washington.
Freda was born on April 18, 1930, to Reginaldo (“Nado”) and Lindamira da Silva in Hong Kong, the sixth of ten children. She was raised in Hong Kong, where she was also married and had a family of three. She immigrated to the United States in 1978 and settled in Federal Way, Washington. She was now a single mom. She lived a full life in Federal Way, and made many lifetime friendships through work, church and everyday life.
Our family would like to extend a deep appreciation to Envision Hospice, the staff of Mill Ridge Village Concepts, and everyone who has provided care to Freda, particularly in these last few months. We will be forever grateful for the support and kindness shown. She is survived by her daughters, Ann, and Marie (Ken) Perilman; and son, Miguel (Maria), as well as her grandcat Nicola (“Nicky”). She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings except for sisters Sylvia and Beatriz. She will be missed.
