Frederick Lionell Bailey-McCall was born November 21, 1950 in Seattle, Washington to the union of James McCall Sr. and Mamie Thompson-Bailey. He was the youngest child of 7 children.

Frederick’s early years were spent in Seattle where he lived in the Yesler Terrace and throughout the Central District where he enjoyed spending time with his parents, grandparents, family members and friends. He attended Seattle Public schools: Bailey Gatzert, Washington Middle and Garfield High School.

Frederick is proceeded in death by his parents, James McCall, Mamie Thompson-Bailey, his siblings Pearline Watson, Ernestine Jones, Richard Bailey Jr., Rebecca Williams, Diana Davis and Paul Bailey. His son Frederick J. McCall Jr., mother of his children; Monica Renea Dickerson and Gwendolyn Smith.

Frederick is survived by and leaves to cherish his memory, Gwendolyn Watkins, his children: Andre L. Smith, Felisha D. Smith, Reena N. McCall, Fredericka F. McCall, Fraison J. McCall. His Grandchildren, Arielle L. Smith, Avante L. Smith, Amara L. Smith, Allanah M. Smith, Monica F. Kelley, and Kayman C. Yearby. One great grandchild, Mi Amora S. Vanga. Special Friends Adolf, Keith Russell, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1:00pm at Church of Christ, 2600 South Holgate Street, Seattle Washington 98144. Repass following the celebration. Please adhere to all social distancing requirements, mask will be required.
