Obituary
Galen Howard Melin was born August 8th, 1956 in Renton Washington and passed away December 26th, 2014. Although Galen had many medical problems in his life, he always had a smile on his face and never complained. We will miss him so very much.
He is survived by his Mother, Betty Foster and her husband John Foster. By his siblings (in laws) Rhonda, Teresa and Jeffrey. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Melin, and his brother, Jerry. He also has many relatives in Superior, Wisconsin.
There will be a memorial services January 3rd at 1pm at Bonney Watson Chapel in Federal Way, WA.
He was my oldest friend before kinder garden. We saw the Beatles, and Evil kenevil together, He was my Best man at my wedding, and even tho we didn’t see each other these last few years because of his health we talked on the phone often, and at the end of every call he would say to me, tell every body Hi for me, and I love you guys. I will miss him, We love you to Galen!

Galen, we at Fred Meyer’s in Federal Way are deeply sadden by your passing, we hope you have eternal rest with your Loved Ones that proceeded you. We’ll miss you greatly.
Betty, we hope you realize that Galen was beloved by the staff at Fred Meyer and our hearts go out to you for your loss.
I always think of Galen with a smile on his face. While I am glad that his suffering is done, I will miss him dearly.
Galen my memories of him are the sweetest! Even though we didn’t get to spend time or see each other, the memories and the feelings of so much love within are so strong! Much peace and comfort always. So thankful for you Galen and Jerry! Can not express enough! Your beautiful nature!xoxo
