Gary Edward Bedell

Obituary
On Saturday May 15, 2021, Gary Edward Bedell passed away unexpectedly at the age of 62. Gary was born on January 5, 1959 in Seattle, WA. He was a Burien resident in his early life and spent the last 25 years in Normandy Park. He started his own HVAC business, Northwest Aire Services, and was a beloved member of his community.
Gary was an accomplished man and an adventure seeker. Whether hunting with his prized golden retrievers, not fishing but “catching,” bowling, dodging wayward racquetballs, or cheering on the Hawks as a 33-year season ticket holder, he truly was a competitor in every aspect of his life and at times a “legend in his own mind.”
Gary loved his family and friends unconditionally. Gary’s legacy was his generosity; impacting everyone he knew, which was especially highlighted in his love of giving to the young children in his life. His door was always open as he welcomed a lively environment and a great time for anyone who stepped inside. He was a trickster, troublemaker, and the life of the party; but first and foremost he was an honest, passionate, and extremely humorous man. He will be forever loved and missed by his family, friends, and community.
Gary is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Elizabeth Bedell and father, Glen Edwin Bedell.
Gary’s Celebration of Life will be held at the Normandy Park Community Club on July 17, 2021. For more information, please visit http://evite.me/QuvNKu63FA
Gary was the most generous person I’ve ever met second only to my father. And if you knew him well you would know it would take a while for him to grow on you. I can tell already that I’m going to miss him very very much.

Miss you buddy!
You will not be forgotten! Your teachings will live on through the many that had the pleasure to work side by side and learn from you. One of the greats.
Our thoughts and prayers are for Gary and his family. He will be remembered as generous, understanding, hardworking and fun loving. He’s been my neighbor, friend, client and I was a client of his. Happy trails old friend.
We’re gonna miss you Gary! Thanks for taking such good care of us for so many years. God bless you and your family.
I have no words, I’ve known this man for most of my life. You could not ask for a better friend, at the drop of a hat, he would do anything for you. For that matter, for anybody. At the same time, he was a pain in the ass, and completely selfless. As Mr. Gressett mentioned, there was nothing he couldn’t do. He could literally fix anything. He was a car guy, HVAC guy, fishing guy, hunting guy, football guy, baseball guy, he was a guy’s guy.
I loved this man, arguably my best friend. I miss him daily…
You will be missed
Gary brought so much love and joy to everyone and in everything he did in his short life. It was difficult to one up him on pranks or comments as he was very quick to respond.
He had a heart of gold as was evident in the many lives he helped along the way. Always for the underdog and often the result of their well-being or life changes. You will be missed but are forever on our minds.
