We have known Gary for many years, living next door to him, still remember the day he moved in. We would have our deep chats from time to time and we will dearly miss him!
I am very saddened to hear about Gary’s passing. He was a great guy and I had the pleasure of working with him ins some of the bands I played in like TKO. Gary will surely be missed by many. Rest in peace Gary.
I am so sad to hear about Gary’s passing. He was a great person to have on tour and to be around.
With our music community being quite the tight knit group – it’s like losing a family member. I was very saddened to hear of Gary’s passing…a class act that will truly be missed.
My sincere condolences.
rest in peace Gary
Although I haven’t seen Gary in many years I often thought of Gary, with Perk, and Guy Clark, Back in the Striker day,s hanging out over at Wayne & Penny,s place on QA I remember the Good Time,s RIP Gary .
I WILL MISS YOU MY OLD FRIEND I WILL SEE YOU ON OTHER SIDE ALOHA RABBIT
I first met Gary on tour with Heart in Japan in 1979. He was working with TKO at the time. We worked together again in ’83 on Heart’s “Passion Works” tour, aka the “Who’s on First” tour. We had some fun times back then and we would still run into each other from time to time. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing. R.I.P. my friend.
I met Gary when he was working with Collective Soul. He was always kind and very nice when we chatted and made sure we got our set lists. A very nice man. Peace, Gary.
Peace Clark!
I am honored to be able to call Gary a friend for 30+ years. It started with Heart (Perk and Clark) then watching him become the premier drum tech in the business and numerous shows together various artists and with Spike and Co. Gary was a true pro and always a pleasure to work with. Too soon my friend, I’ll miss you!
Gary and I were nearly inseparable in the eighties and his passing deeply saddens me. While we hadn’t remained in touch the last few years, I’ll always consider him one of my closest and true friends. Rest in peace old friend.
I was privileged to worked with Gary for over 10 years with Heart. He was always a pro when it came to work and he was always a person that I could count on to be there for me.
We were part of a family during those days and I consider him a brother who will be surely missed.
R.I.P. my friend
We are saddened by his sudden passing, but fondly remember Gary. He was a neighbor, but more importantly also a friend. We enjoyed having him over for an occasional BBQ dinner, or bringing the “single guy” leftovers to eat! He will be missed.

Gary-you were always on my mind all these years and Kenny and I had plans to find you when we moved back in September. I apologize for not finding you sooner. All those years with the band were so much fun. And I am so relieved that you and Kenny are now together on the other side, strikin’ sets and ripping up duct tape. Love you, Gary, and peace forever.
Sorry I did not look you up sooner brother. So many years of laughing and having fun all the while working the jobs we loved so much. The very best of memories…..Rog
