Obituary
Gary Russell Latham
October 11th, 1950 – July 31st, 2009
Gary served with the US Marines during the Vietnam War. He was the beloved father of Jennifer and Allison and grandfather of Jonah. He is survived by mother Marilyn Craig, father Russell Latham, brothers Larry, Dwayne and Russ, and sisters Linda, Michelle, Lisa and Kim, and many other family members.
During his free time he liked watching westerns and playing poker with family and friends. He enjoyed camping and fishing.
When Jennifer and Allison were in school he enjoyed helping them with their math homework; and when their friends came over they would call Gary the ‘Math Man’ because he was really good at math.
There will be a Military Committal ceremony held at Tahoma National Cemetery at 9:30 am on Thursday August 6, 2009

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Gary. We offer our sympathy and prayers to all of Gary’s family. We love you guys.
Our hearts are sad, your life too brief, but we have wonderful memories of the joy you brought to everyone in the family. We were so proud of the young Marine in training when you visited us while in the Air Force in CA. Our trip to Disneyland, etc. We know you are at peace and free from pain and home with the Lord. You were a loving, caring nephew and we will miss you greatly. Our love and prayers go up to you.
With Gary you always knew where you stood. He was quick with a hug and a smile. Selflessly dedicated to his girls.
A great guy who is gone too soon.
He will be missed.
To a really wonderful and great brother in law. We will miss you, especial the long talk you and Jeff had over political debates. Thank you for all the great advice you gave me over the years. I will keep the promise that I made you. Love always.
My faith in God will sustain me in my grief of your passing and my memories of you as a loving & giving son and father and friend will remain with me always. I loved you so very much, Mom. Marilyn .
We watched you grow into a fine young man that joined the U.S.M.C. and served your country well, then into adulthood you became a loving father and grandfather. We have always been so proud of you and your happy spirit. We know you are with the Lord and are thankful for the peace He gives. We love you,God bless you, love Gail and Janet
