Obituary
Gehart Reitan, age 88, passed peacefully on Monday, October 16, 2006 in Federal Way. He was raised in Milton, ND and served in the Pacific Theater in WWII. During this time he married Gladys Johnson. In 1950, they moved to Seattle where they raised their family. Gehart was employed by Boeing Company for 30 years as Fabrication Supervisor. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Gladys; daughters, Patricia G. Proo Richard, Lucinda M. Winkle Mervin, Sally Jo Ford David and Barbara J. Miller; seven grandchildren, Danielle, Amy Jo, Jason, Christina, Jamie, Jeremy and Jodie; one great-grandson, Riley; sister, Thelma Strand and several nieces and nephews. The memory for Gehart’s zest for life will be cherished. A private family service to celebrate Gehart’s life will be held. The family has entrusted arrangements to BONNEY-WATSON Federal Way, 1535 SW Dash Point Rd., Federal Way, WA 253 839-7317.
