Genard “Gene” Bernard Torrey
72, born July 24, 1932 in Lebanon, OR passed away January 13, 2005 at Highline Community Hospital in Burien, WA. Gene was proud of being a Teamster Union truck driver for 35 years. What you see is what you get, honest, hardworking, and non-judgemental. Dad saw everyone as his equal; a wonderful man who leaves an honorable legacy. “The purpose of life is a life of purpose” We love you Dad!
Gene is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Shirley; 4 Sons, Dan M. Audett, Dan M. Diane Torrey, Brett G. Torrey, Christopher F. Torrey; Brother, Leon Torrey, 2 Sisters, Patsy Wimbush, Reta Torrey; 6 Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Grandchildren.

Gene was my friend! He will be missed because of his devotion to family and his passion for life itself.
