Genevieve LaVonne Kananilehua Piilani Archuleta

July 14, 1978 - September 4, 2015

Obituary

Genevieve LaVonne Kananilehua Piilani Archuleta was born on July 14, 1978 in Honolulu, Hawaii and died on September 4, 2015 in Kirkland, WA. at the age of 37.
Genevieve is survived by her three daughters, Julia Allen-Piilani, Jaida Allen-Piilani, Gianna Archuleta, father and mother Dwight and Julie Piilani and her sister Nicole Piilani, nephews J’dyn and Jaxen and niece Janye.

Genevieve was beautiful inside and out. She was loved by many and was a caring and loving friend. She loved planning parties and Pinterest and Amazon were her best friends. She was considered to be a mother figure to all that she worked with and will be missed dearly.

She was a very passionate Seahawk fan and her customers would come in just to talk about the games or team news. She was the original 12th woman! She knew everything that was going on with the Seahawks.

She was so smart and no one could beat her at Jeopardy. That was a family thing, we had to watch Jeopardy to try and beat her but never did.

There are no words to explain how much we love Genny and how much she will be missed. She will be in our hearts, always and forever.

My daughter dearest,

My heart is broken and my life will not be the same without you in it. In this past 11 months, we got closer than ever and I miss you so much! What I would do to spend one more day with you….

Thank God for all of the memories that I have of you that will get me through. You were so beautiful inside and out. You were so smart and was the Jeopardy queen and no one could beat you at it.

I don’t understand why, but I know that you are in a better place and not in pain. You are in Heaven and I will see you again.

I love you my daughter Genny….you will forever be in my heart.

Love,

Your Mother Dear

My heart is so heavy for you and your family. May your spirit watch over and guide your children in life. May your children feel you in their lives and never feel lost. God is good. Someday we’ll understand why such lovely people have to go.

My Beatiful Niece Genevieve,

You know I Love You with all my Heart. I have no words to even come close to how much I miss you. My Heart aches and my eyes fill with tears every time I think of you….so that’s pretty much all the time. You know me. I am so happy I got to spend a lot of time with you until the end. If I could trade my life with you…I would. You have the best Parents in the world…my sister and brother. Thank you for my three beautiful nieces…your daughters. OHANA means FAMILY and we will stick togheter until the end. LOVE is STRONG.

Genny I met you as a teenager. We lived in the same apartments. Through your sister Nicole we became extended family. You were always helping my girls which I truly appreciated. I thank God for you. We were blessed and honored to call you family. You will truly be missed.
