We are sorry to hear that George has passed away. Though we didn’t know him well, we did have the opportunity to meet with him a couple of times walking in the neighborhood as well as at his home which he shared with the community recently.

We express our deepest condolences and wish the family he left behind some of Gods finest blessings.

George was for my sons as the grandfather they don’t have in this country. They miss him a lot, and I don’t know how to express my feelings. My husband, my sons and I are very sorry for his departure.

Estamos seguros que estaras en un lugar mejor que este. Gracias por tu carino y la amistad que nos brindaste

We’ll miss you.

To the family, although I can’t be there with you, please know that I share your sorrow and loss. Being my neighbor for almost 30 years, George was always there when called upon for a helping hand or advice. We shared many good times – football games, bar-b-ques, and just good conversation.

“Goodbye” to a true friend. Until we meet again.

We were so very sorry to hear of George’s passing. We were just some of his neighbors that lived near him on 18th Ave SW. We enjoyed his company and he hosted several “Night Out For Crime” parties in his front yard. He will be truely missed, as he was our “regular” on the street.
