To the family and friends of George H. Price:

Please allow me to express my sincere condolences regarding Mr. Price. Inasmuch as the death of a loved one can be a painful experience, there is a strong hope for the future. The Bible says that there will come a time when “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” John 5:28,29 Yes, the Bible speaks about a resurrection of the dead!!! What a wonderful time that will be!!!

Our thoughts and prayer have been with you all at this time of loss. I have such fond memories of the wonderful visits with George and Virginia. The one that stands out the most would be summer we went to Hoods Canal. George helped me bring in a hugh Blue Lin Cod, Wow!! that was the best.

George was a great guy! My late husband, Les, and I met the Price’s at Lake Cushman in the late ’80’s and we enjoyed their friendship for many years. We had lots of fun on the golf links and serving the community through the Booster Club. It is ironic that we are neighbors again at Marina Point. George we will miss seeing you walking Homer down the street but know you are in a better place now. God’s Blessings to the family, may you find strength through the Lord and in each other.

We are friends of George’s sister Alice, so that means we also spent some time with George & Virginia at the Braaflat’s parties. George was a wonderful, fun guy. We’ll miss seeing him. Favorite memory is when we all went to the drag races a few years ago.

Wishing you peace during this difficult time.

I spent many days walking & talking with George here at Lake Cushman. We discussed politics and happenings here in our small community, I haven’t seen George in a few years, we send our heartfelt sympathy and will say a prayer for Virginia & family.

Virginia and family…We have many good memories of happy times at Lake Cushman…of George’s wit and generous good humor…we have missed you both since you left there, and send our deepest regrets that

George is gone, but our understanding that you both have earned relief from his illness; we wish only the best for you and hope that our paths may cross before long. With love and condolences, Marilyn and Bernie

We are very much enjoying our home here at Lake Cushman that you built and lived in for so many years. We so enjoyed our short time getting to know you both. Jim enjoys playing golf in the cart he bought from George. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Virginia and your family at this time of loss. Love Diane & Jim

Dear Virginia,

I am so sorry to hear about George. Our family has such great memories of our times with you at Lake Cushman. My parents couldn’t have asked for nicer neighbors! I remember how much fun George and dad had landscaping the cul-de-sac flower garden and how beautiful it turned out. We had such good times sitting around the campfire and talking!

Sorry that I am unable to attend the service but we are saying goodbye to Mickey’s mom on the same day. She passed away a couple of days before George. My love to you and your family.

Virginia, George was a good man and though we will miss him, in God’s providence we will all see each other again in Paradise.
