Uncle George, I need to let you know how important you were and are to me. Growing up you would chase me around the house trying to bite my toes and always made the extra effort to include us kids in the activities. Through the years you were always so much fun and so full of life. This is a bitter sweet moment because I know you are happy now but I want you here for your love and laughter. The kids are in great hands, Darrell misses you deeply. Please say hello ounce and awhile. I will always Love You.
You’re in our thoughts and prayers, Roxy and Gloria Jobs
My Aunt and Uncle Chuck and Bonnie Green loved you so and I found out why after visiting them and meeting their “special neighbor”. Flowers for our visit, pies and a box of candy and sweet sweet Bear to take to our 87 year old Mother. All these things in 2 days!! I wanted to move next door to you. You are special, unique and what a privilidge to meet you and laugh with you. I know all will miss you. Thank you for those memories.
I wasn’t too sure of George when I first met him..but as the years went by…I knew he was one of the good guys…always a kind heart for others. Will miss him gathering flowers in the neighborhood for his next project..will miss his fabulous partys full of laughs…will miss him for just being George…my thoughts and prayers are with the family..
George was a wonderful, caring, loving person who always made sure that his friends and family were happy & he would do anything for Darrell and the kids : We will miss him so very much & know that every day he will be looking over us & shining his love upon us. We love you George!
We were saddened to hear of George’s passing. We will always remember George’s kindness and floral talent when we look at our fireplace wreath that he so generously designed for us. I will miss his jokes and laughter during our telephone conversations which always made me laugh. Our condolences to his family, friends and to my brother Darrell.
WE SEND OUR SINCERE SYMPATHY TO GEORGE’S FAMILY AND FRIENDS. IT WAS OUR PLEASURE TO MEET HIM WHILE WE WERE VISITING HIS GOOD FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS, CHUCK AND BONNIE GREEN . WE KNOW THEY WILL MOURN HIS PASSING. THEY LOVED GEORGE AND APPRECIATED HAVING HIM IN THEIR LIVES. WE FELT LIKE GEORGE WAS A PRECIOUS FRIEND THE MOMENT WE MET HIM. GOD’S BLESSINGS BE WITH EACH OF YOU.
I was so sorry to hear of George’s passing last week. I met him several years ago through my husband, Jason, and my mother-in-law, Debbie. We’ve enjoyed spending time with him and Darrell at several get-togethers ever since George sure knew how to throw a party – we always looked forward to them! When I think of George I picture him laughing, telling jokes, and just generally being so full of life. That’s the way I’ll always remember him. My condolences go out to his family and friends.
I’ve known George for probably 15 or 16 years, and he’s always been kind, caring, and just plain a good person. My lasting memory of him will be at one of his always great parties, doing what he loved to do… entertaining, enjoying his family, friends, and life in general. George would give the shirt off his back to someone who needed it, and wouldn’t think twice about it. This world seems to have a shortage of honestly good people, and I will always remember George as one of them. He will be missed by so many people.
We will always love you. You have a special place in my heart. We WERE the wind beneath each other’s wings. We miss you so much…. Stay with us and watch over us
Darrell and all 5 kids our dogs
