It was only recently that I got to know Uncle Gerald. I feel blessed for the time we spent together. I enjoyed his engaging stories and warm demeanor. My thoughts and sympathies are with my family and know I love you all very much.
To family and friends ,your grievances and tears of sadness are great at this time. But know for a certainty that Almighty God will wipe away all tears of sadness and give a life of joy.He has promised and cannot lie…Titus 1:2 and Revelation 21:3,4.
My last memory with you was when you were on the bus downtown and I got on and sat right next to you. I said, “do you remember me? I’m Yvonne’s daughter.” You looked at me and said, “yes, I know who you are.” We both smiled and had a long conversation on that bus ride. I will never forget it. That was the first time we’d done that so it was nice and memorable. The last time I saw you was special to. We were at Rocky and Aunt Mary’s house in Kirkland. So glad we took a picture together that day. I will miss you! Love always!
P.S. Give my Great-Grandmother Priscilla a hug from me. Pump fist and give a shout out to everyone else for me. They will know you are from the 21st century! 🙂
