Obituary
Gerald Dunning, 69, beloved Husband and Father, was called to his eternal resting place on March 26, 2020. He entered this world on May 23, 1950 in Seattle, WA, born to Jerry and Betty Dunning. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years Leslie Dunning; daughter Stephanie Dunning; son-in-law Daniel Wokoun; daughter Vanessa Tobin; son-in-law Rick Tobin; son Gerald “Bud” Dunning III; daughter-in-law Lisa Dunning. As well as his grandchildren Genna Tobin, Adeline Tobin, Xavier Dunning, Ayden Dunning, and Naomi Dunning.
Gerald was a proud Local Union 54 Roofers and Waterproofers member for over 40 years. He started at Pacific Rainier Roofing in 1978 and retired in October 2019.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021, 1:00 pm at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Funeral Home.

Gerald, you were such a Godsend to my family and my father when you came out of retirement to help during his health issues.
Having you there allowed him the peace of mind needed to focus on recovering. A person as loyal and trustworthy as you is very hard to find.
I grew up with you always being at the company and you are greatly missed.
Rest well.
Keep on improving that golf game Gerald. You always made me try harder at corn hole. I will win someday. You will be missed.
