Gerald ‘Jerry’ Joseph Rossignol was born in Frenchville, Maine on September 1st 1949 and passed suddenly on October 25th 2008 at the age of 59. Jerry was born the 3rd of 4 children, to Eldric and Theoline Rossignol formerly of East Berlin, Connecticut.
Jerry served honorably as a radio operator in the Army during the Vietnam War stationed in Thailand from March 1969 to October 1970.
Upon his honorable discharge Jerry returned to Connecticut where he worked in the banking industry for a number of years before discovering his love for floral arrangement. Flowers and floral arranging were a passion for Jerry. He worked in the floral industry for a short time and continued to arrange flowers for family and friends throughout his life.
Jerry moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1982 and lived in Edmonds for more than a decade. He and his best friend of almost 30 years, Mark McClarty were heavily involved in charity work with the Imperial Court system in Everett for more then 12 years. In 1999 Jerry moved to Capitol Hill in Seattle where he spent his remaining years working as a Supervisor at Children’s and Northwest hospitals.

Jerry’s laughter and great sense of humor will be missed by all who had the good fortune to meet him.
I was so sadden to hear of Jerry’s passing. I met Jerry through the Imperial Court System a few years back; he and Mark graciously opened their home up to me. Sunday dinners were a regular, my favorite meal in which he prepared was Cavadells sp and Sausage. I have so many fond memories of Jerry, he will always be in my thoughts as his friends and family will be during this difficult time.
Dearest Scott,
As we remember and celebrate Jerry’s life, we pray that you are comforted by the memories that you shared together. Please know that our hearts and prayers are with you.
By your side ALWAYS,
Love, The Ortho Team

I was very shocked to hear of Jerry’s passing. I was fortunate enough to have worked with him and then under him through Perot at NWH’s PFS Dept.
Jerry was always serious in his business manner, but making light of lots of situations. He made difficult situations manageable. He got along well with everyone he came in contact with.
He will surely be missed.
Scott, know that even though he is no longer here he will always be watching out for you and standing by your side in everything that you do.
May God Bless and keep you, Jeanette
Scott,
My thoughs and prayers are with you.
Joann
Sorry to run across this sad news so many years after his passing. Jerry and I were friends when I lived in Hartford, Connecticut. We would go clubbing together sharing many good times. We lost contact when I moved out of state. Losing Jerry is fresh to me as I grieve today. Thank you for keeping the book open. Loved the pictures. And, man, that smile!
