Baxter and mother, Marie Inga Langdalen and a sister
Darlyne K. (Baxter) Brady.
I knew Gerry from visiting my father, Jim Tolnay, at Columbia Lutheran Home. He thought my name was “Tom” and that was fine with me. When I’d walk into the dining room, Gerry would wave and shout out “Hi, Tom.” I usually shook his hand and asked him how he was doing. Then, Gerry would tell me wonderful stories about catching fish, buying cars, and parties at work. I hope that Gerry enjoyed his “real” life as much as he enjoyed the stories that he told me. I will miss him.
You will be missed. I will remember the sparkle in your eyes and quick smile, and full bodied laugh! I still miss sharing mothers day with you, your sister Donna, and both my mom and your mom – those were some great times. I will smile thinking of fishing stories and times shared. From you ‘indian’ friend….. God be with you
