Geraldine Adeline Johnson Nee Anderson was born in Seattle on September 17, 1927 to Charles Swope (Anderson) and Edna Barnhart. She passed away February 15, 2021 at Valley Medical Center in Renton.
Geraldine married Donald Robert “Bob” Johnson October 13, 1990 in Minden, Nevada. She is survived by her brothers Edward Anderson, William Prout, Stan Prout and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Preceding her in death were her husband Bob, brother C. Richard Anderson and her son William “Bill” Landon. She was devoted to her son Bill and will be interred with him -Mother and Son Together Forever-.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle.
Geri was a good friend when I lived in Des Moines as she was my neighbor. She made some happy times visiting her and Bob. She made the best mince pie I ever had. I moved in 2014 to CA but I missed her very much. A great lady! I sold her the grave as I was her Director and worked at Bonney Watson.
