Obituary
Geraldine Ann Gordon Lamanno was born on January 6, 1931, the second child of Harold and Kathleen Gordon in Vancouver BC Canada.
Geraldine graduated from Stadium High School and UPS in Tacoma, WA., majoring in Music. She resided in San Francisco, Ca for 6 years and worked as a Social Worker in Child Welfare. Geraldine was a member of the Pike Place Market Community for over 32 years. She was a talented Artist and Pianist as well as a performing soloist for Mason Methodist Church. She and her brother, Robert Gordon, sang with the Seattle Festival Opera Company. She had a passion for opera, animals and her beautiful garden.
Geraldine died peacefully at home the morning of October 10th surrounded by her loving husband Joseph Lamanno, her brother Robert M. Gordon of San Francisco, her sister Patricia Zumhoff Norman Zumhoff-Brother-In Law from Tacoma and her close friend of many years Aungfah Sanchrachang. She is also survived by her nephew Michael Zumhoff and two nieces Sharon and Wendy.
She was a beautiful and talented woman who will be remembered for her beauty, her spirit and her exceptional courage. Donations can be made to the Humane Society.
