Sorry for your loss.Your Mom was an adorable and delightful lady!

She will be missed by all of us at the bowling alley. I looked forward to seeing her smiling face and getting my “Mom Hug” every Wed & Fri AM.

You are my Grandma, You are my friend

And with your love no one can contend

Your life was filled with warm hearted care

The spark you held nothing can compare

Your laugh and smile would brighten a room

You were just like a flower in bloom

By your presence many lives were kissed

The effect you had can not be dismissed

There’s one thing I can guarentee

Everyone will miss you so greatly

Antie Gerty Gert. I don’t know how she became known to us by that name but her presence would always light up the room. I always looked forward to her visits in Crescent OK. We are by who we know and I will always be a better person because of her.

Vyron and Ron:

I agree with Mike. She was a special lady. We always looked forward to your Mom and Dads visits to Crescent. It is a shame that we didn’t get to see you more often. Sending you hugs and prayers for the days ahead. I know you will miss her so very much.

Your Mother will always be in my heart. So thankful I got to meet and know her. I told her from day one that if she and I were neighbors we would have been “BEST FRIENDS”. She laughed and totally agreed with me. They just don’t make them anymore like Gerturde. My Mothers name was Gerturde and the similarities are astounding. Gertrude was petite as my Mother too. She was so sweet, loving, and caring to everyone. What a joy to have known her.

I love Gertrude.

MOTHER:

You were there for us each and every day

You were always guiding us in the right way

You helped us grow from boys to men

A selfless person you have always been

All your life you were there to help others

Even as a young girl you took care of your sisters and brothers

Now after a very full life that you were given

You will now be with dad in Heaven

Lastly I say you were the best mother that could exist

You win The Top Mother award hands over fist

I love you and will miss you mom.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Death is one of the most difficult things we face in life but may it comfort you to know that others care. I have found great encouragement when reading the beautiful words penned in the Bible at Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.” May this promise bring your family comfort in this difficult time.
