Obituary
Gloria Goodwin
Gloria Goodwin went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2012. She was born to Abe Peters and Kathryn Schroeder Peters on September 7, 1929 in Chinook, Montana.
Gloria graduated Suma Cum Laude from Central Washington University and studied for her masters at the University of Washington. She was a nurse for many years as well as an accomplished pianist. She won several cake decorating awards while living in Moses Lake but often laughed that she was a pianist, singer, artist and writer but she could never flute a pie!
She is survived by sisters Myrtle Nash and Goldie Hanson and their families as well as one son Bradford, daughters Tana Knowlton, Toni McDonald and their families, including several children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gloria was a born again Christian and asked the following be included in any memorial;
In peace let me resign my breath and thy salvation see my sins deserve eternal death but Jesus died for me! FORGIVEN, FORGIVEN, FORGIVEN!
Memorials in Gloria’s memory may be made to the National MS Society, PO Box 4527, New York, NY 10163.
Memories of good things past will not be forgotten. Rest in peace with a healed body.
