Gloria Holmes was born February 10, 1951 in Calgary Alberta, Canada. She was the third oldest child born to Odell and Mable Holmes.
Gloria was a beautiful and creative child. She loved to build igloos in the cold winters and ice skate on their frozen pond. During hot summer’s she enjoyed the parades, camping trips, and wiener roasts.
In the early 1960’s her family relocated to Vancouver, Canada where she enjoyed her family trips and babysitting her nieces and nephews. After graduating from Burnaby North Senior Secondary School in the early 1970’s, Gloria took her journey to Los Angeles, California to visit family where she later met the love of her life Chryar D. She loved her children so much that she would always mention that the fruit of her womb is blessed.
Gloria was employed with such companies as Urban Industries and Airborne Express as a Payroll Specialist until 2005.
In 1991, she received the Lord Jesus Christ under the Leadership of Pastor Tony & Renee Morris at the N.C.C.C. She served as a faithful usher, prayer partner, and in the Outreach Ministry. She loved her church and served as a faithful member until she was called home.
Gloria was a prayer warrior she loved the Lord with all her heart. Her main prayer was to see all her family saved and serving the Lord. She wanted Love and Peace to be upon her whole family. Even through her sickness, she would still encourage her children and family, to Pray and believe God. She was a mighty woman of God!
