Dear Gloria,

I feel as if I lost my grandaughter several days ago but I also feel our Lord has gained His little but precious and mature Angel back after changing our lives forever. I admire you and I praise God to give me as much faith and strength as you showed us all, when the time comes. Dear family, thank you for your acceptance to share with us these private moments; I am sure that tens of thousands were sending their thoughts your way these days … I want also to thank Seattle Times for their commitment to publish your story and to share with us Gloria’s Faith in our Lord.

I love you,

Vio.

I want to thank the Strauss family for sharing the beautiful story of this amazing little girl with all of us… Gloria is an inspiration for faith not only in God but also in mankind. She was the perfect example of how we all should live our lives. Putting herself aside to pray for and reach out to others… I am not a Catholic, and I am not sure what determines a persons right to be called a Saint, but if it has anything to do with unconditional faith, the ability to change peoples lives for the better without ever meeting them, being willing to put God in front of our life and live his plan… then you, little Angel are a Saint in my eyes… Friday morning God reached down and touched the earth to bring one of his angels into his arms…

My love and condolences to the Strauss family, you are a beautiful family…

Sweet and precious Gloria. You are truly with the Angels now. Words cannot describe all the good and joy you have brought to so many. You not only touched lives with your heart of love but God has used you to change lives as well. OH, the joy you must be experiancing in the arms of the Lord at this moment. Stay with us in spirit always sweetheart. We love you and will miss you dearly, but we know that God will continue to use you to touch so many more. No goodbyes, only laughter. Doug, Kristen and the rest of the Strauss and Trimberger family, know that our throughts and prayers are with you and God’s arms are wrapped around you.
