Grady was all heart. I have some very fond memories. I am not sure what had me searching his name today but I am glad I did. Best to his family and friends.

I am remembering my brother today. I remember him always. But in the last few days he has really been on my heart. Maybe because being in Texas I was able to be removed from the immediate grief. But as the weather here cools it reminds me of home. It reminds me of simple times growing up with my brothers. I remember Grady’s laugh most of all. Underneath his gruff exterior, he was light hearted, giving, loving and very kind. He will always be in my heart and I am thankful for our last conversation. I told him I was proud of him and happy for his new venture being a married man again. I made him promise to come and see me in Texas if they were ever headed south. We told each other how much we loved each other and then we said good bye. I just never dreamed it would be for the last time.

I enjoyed talking to Grady at work about Jules. His love for her, how she drove him crazy and the things he loved to do for her. He was quite a guy.

My dad was very special to me and i could’nt have loved him any more than i do.I have lots of fun and loving memories of my father, he always made me laugh when i was down and he stuck by me no matter what my decisions were..Him being strong made me who i’am today, I know that my sister Loni and I ment everything to him, we were his life and he was ours. I love him sooo much its undesribable and i could not have asked for a better father. You will always be with me, God Bless you daddy!

I was Gradys step daughter for many years and am very close to my two sisters Sabrina and Loni. Grady was a tough guy who was very ruff around the edges. what i like about grady was he was very straight forward and didnt take any crap for anyone. He was an intersting guy and he will be greatly missed.

I am not sure what made me get on here and look up my dad but I think about him every single day. As the years go by faster and faster the days don’t get easier, the heart ache just gets easier to cope with. As I sit here and write this I cant help but to think where is everyone? his wife Jules, it would be nice to know her whereabouts, or my dads close friends he had, Winnie, she was his fishing partner and best female friend other than his wife. Or where is Scott, uncle Scott is what we called him, I don’t remember his last name he was a life long friend of my dads, basically a brother. Scott is who called me the early morning of my dads death to inform me of the horrible news, I haven’t spoken to Scott since that day, where are you all? I have asked myself this questions for the last 13 years.

I don’t know if anyone will even see this comment, I hope one day someone will. I have tried to look these people up for the last several years on every social media I could think of, I have even googled them. If there is any chance of someone seeing this, Jules, Winnie, Uncle Scott, please reach out to me. or anyone that was close with my dad, please reach to me.

I would like to share with the ones who do not know, the joy of being the mother to Grady’s grandsons. if you knew my dad, then you would know he loved us girls, but he ALWAYS wanted a boy. To this day, he has 6 grandsons…..that’s right SIX!! I want to share this with his close friends and Jules, even if its to just let them know this. And I’ll tell you, these boys are a splitting image of my dad when he was just a boy, and he would be so proud of the “all boy” that they are and he would be the BEST grandpa to his grandsons, no doubt. And it breaks my heart knowing he left to soon, evben though I know he is always in out hearts, its not the same as being physically here to interact with his grandsons.

I am Grady’s oldest daughter, I am 34 years old, and I have 2 beautiful boys. My sister Loni, Grady’s youngest daughter has 4 beautiful boys.

So if anyone gets this comment at anytime, 1 week, 1 year, or 5 years, please reach out to me. I would love to get into contact with Jules, Uncle Scott or Winnie!
