Obituary
Grady Monroe Atkins, age 83, resided in SeaTac, WA., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Grady is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Eunice; children, Patricia McCracken Art, Harold Atkins Charlene, Ivan Atkins Judyand Linda Taft Jerry;; seven grandchildren, Edward, Teresa, Lori, Richard, Gretchen, Melissa and Justin; five great-grandchildren, Matt, Dezeree, Candice, Caysey and Summer and one great-great-grandchild, Kraig. He was preceded in death by his son, Leonard Atkins. Grady loved to play the guitar and sing, bowling, fishing, golf and woodworking – he made much of his own furniture. He will be missed by family and friends. There will be a celebration of his life held on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 12:30 pm at BONNEY-WATSON Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA.
Eunice, Linda and family….I read in the paper of Grady’s death. I remember him fondly. I still say you’re wacky instead of you’re welcome just like he taught us. Remember? You were very good freinds to me as I was growing up. I sometimes drive by the old house when I am in the neighborhood and remember the good times when we were kids. Remember the Echo Pipe woods?
