Greg Jones—

I’m so saddened to hear of your passing. You were always a delight to work with, laugh with and be with. You were in the meeting years where I met my now husband … you and I had a good talk and a giggle over it. I still speak of you when I tell the story of how he and I first met.

It’s hard to believe you’re gone from this world so soon… I know you’ll live on in the stories and lives of those you leave behind. RIP.

Greg, I had only gotten to know you in the past year, but from the first time I met you, you were clearly a kind, loving and funny man. It was always great walking into anyplace and seeing you and Ray, both always with big smiles. While our friendship was too brief, I am honored to have gotten to know you.

Greg, you always had a smile on your face and kindness in your heart. You and your husband are an inspiration to the Seattle community of how a loving marriage should be. You both were always together, smiling, laughing and accepting of other – no matter what. I still remember meeting you, for the first time, at your 40th birthday party, the night you met Raymond.

May you be at peace in your new life and shine like you did while you were here in this one.

You are the Seattle’s dog whisperer!

You were one of the nicest people that I have ever met. You were always smiling in the office and so friendly to everyone. I always looked forward to hearing about the trips that you had just gone on or were about to take. You will be greatly missed. Rest in peace.

Greg, Though I did not have the opportunity to know you for very long, you were always kind and welcoming. Your warm smile and gentle heart made a lasting impression. As you blessed those around you with love and light in this life so shall God bless you in the next. Peaceful journey and a quiet rest for your gentle soul.

Greg,

You were one of the nicest people i’ve ever met. You were always there for me when i needed someone to talk to. Whenever you saw me you greeted me with a Big teddy bear of a smile. You checked in on me and always found some way to cheer me up and give me advice. You and Ray always said the right things to me and you always made me feel welcome. The biggest heart. I’m always going to have those memories we shared. Since i’ve met you i’ve looked up to you. You definitely touched my life and made a difference. You will be missed Greggy.

Love, Sammy

WOW!!! I don’t really know what to say. Still kinda in shock hearing this news at this time and trying to cope myself. I will honestly try and make it . Having experienced so many losses myself of family, friends, influential people and associates, I am a bit numb. Trust in God and may you all find peace and comfort at this time . My sincere condolences to all of you at this time.

My deepest sympathies, as Greg will be missed, and my heart breaks for Ray, Greg’s family as well as those he left behind.

Greg will always in my memory remain,

Forever Young

Trapped in the glorious years

within the memory of belief, lost of all grief.

Take the reasons,

which once seemed so clear,

but never mind, you have nothing to fear.

For you my friend will be, forever young,

Forever in the heart of memories.

Lost in the glory of all time,

the wisdom was there within that smile,

You see you could have told us,

there within lies the mystery.

So shed a smile, and grin a tear,

For you my friend, will be,

Forever young, Forever young.

Forever in the heart of memory,

We see not through or misery.

Forever young, forever young.

There’s a new angel tonight.

How do I say goodbye to the love of my life? Greg, you were my world. We had so much fun as a team, so much laughter and love between us. You are my husband, now and always. Whatever there is after life here, I hope to find you once again so I can look into your eyes and thank you for loving me as you did and for allowing me to love you. I will care for and love Roxie and Magic- and you will continue to live in all those you have touched.

I knew Gregory back in Abilene TX when his brother was stationed at the Air Force base. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He loved all his family very much. I lost track with Gregory many years ago. But I remember him as a very intelligent happy young man. GOD now has an Angel that’s lights the heavens. No words can help his loved ones. God be with his family.
