During the latter part of his career, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.   He received commendations for his work and was cited for exemplary performance.  Greg medically retired in December of 2010.

In 2002, Greg met Marilyn, the love of his life.  Together, they spent time with family and friends and enjoyed camping, riding all-terrain vehicles and travelling. Greg enthusiastically studied the military history of the United States. He was avid gun collector and held an armorer certification.

Greg was preceded in death by his father Jack Haglund.  He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Marilyn Haglund, cherished mother Karen Haglund, much loved sisters Lisa Bishop and Jacque Haglund, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.
