Grampa, I love you so much. I’m so glad I came and saw you. I will tell my four children of all the wonderful memories and of how much I love you. You made each one of us grandchildren feel like your very favorite. No one can ever fill your shoes. I will miss getting mail from you, I will miss you calling me “My favorite granddaughter from Bellingham”. . . took me a few years to realize I was your ONLY granddaughter in Bellingham! You have set a wonderful example for our family of a devoted husband, dad, friend and grandfather. Give Uncle Dan a kiss and hug from me. I’m so glad you are with him now.

I did not personally know Mr. Blanco, but if his kind, loving daughter, Roxanne, is any reflection of his character, he must have been a great man.

All my sincerest condolences to his loving and grieving family members.

The rehearsal dinner at Marcia’s house the night before Andrea’s wedding and Tito thought it would be a great idea and really funny if I ate a hot pepper, but then promptly got me some milk when my face turned red!

Gloria, Marsh, and the rest of the girls. I am so honored to have been at several of your family parties and to have been around Tito. I remember him as very gracious and handsome with a quiet and cute sense of humor. My thoughts are with you all. Love, Giuliana

Dear Auntie,

We are thinking of you today and praying for God to comfort you with His love. Uncle Tito was such a cool, fun and loving uncle. I am so glad Julie and I were able to go to Seattle. I will always remember him for his suttle jokes and the way he shared his wisdom as he spoke.

To my cousins, I love you, and wish I could be there with you to share in the celebration of his life. May God Bless all of you!

love Mary Yetta

We were so sorry to hear about the death of your father, Roxanne. Although we never met him, he sounds like a wonderful husband and father, and we know from what you have said about him that he will be lovingly remembered and missed so much by all of your family. Please accept our condolences.

My sincerest condolences to your family. Tito was a valued asset to the Broadway Business District of Capitol Hill for nearly half a century. He always had a smile and willingness to help. I personally will miss his honesty, integrity and work ethic. He carried my insurance policy when I moved to Seattle in 1983.
