There are some people that are just bigger than life and that includes my Uncle Harley! Harley contained a spirit within himself that was selfless, positive, humorous, a bit rascally, kind and always gentle. I loved his sense of humor and the fact that in his view, the glass was always ‘half full’.
I have countless ‘favorite’ memories of uncle Harley while growing up. He and his family were always there for every important event in our lives in Yakima. The anticipation was palatable while awaiting the arrival of Uncle Harley and family, we knew fun would be had by all, and it was!
The Accordion, Guitar playing and Singing were enjoyed so much, that was Harley’s trademark! The story telling was grand and there was always much laughter! I will always treasure the ‘Time Capsule’ e-mails he sent me in recent years!
The one consolation that I have is that Uncle Harley’s spirit is so big that it still remains with us, I know that he is still ‘here’ watching over all of those that he loves. I will miss him dearly but also know that he isn’t far away, because he fills a big part of my heart, I will always have him near to me. I love and miss you Uncle Harley! Au revoir! Gloria
We will miss Harley, we didn’t see you both very much but think about you alot. With Love and Great Memories.

Dad Harley was the best Dad a girl could ask for! Teaching me how to ride a bike, walking me down the isle, his advise on how not to sweat the small stuff. His compassion for people was one of the many traits I admired in him.
I loved him dearly and miss him greatly

I will always remember Uncle Harley as a happy, fun guy that I was always glad to see. It seems like he was telling a joke or a funny story every time I saw him!
