Harry was my first boss 23 years ago at the Puget Sound Air Pollution Control Agency. He was a great guy who taught the newbie I was, about Air Pollution Regulation and Permitting. After he retired he made it a point to visit the Agency at least once a year. Two or three years ago he brought Gerry with him, and she surprised me in that she still remembered a minor kindness that occurred 3 days after I started working for Harry, where I helped get his car started at the Puyallup Fair.

They were both great people, to be missed by a great community of friends and colleagues.

Very Respectfully,

Claude

I worked with Harry at Puget Sound Air Pollution Control Agency (now Puget Sound Clean Air Agency) for most of my 33 years at the agency. Harry always had a smile for you and a sweet, kind way about him. I just sat and chatted with him recently at a new retiree’s luncheon. Such a gentle soul will be sorely missed in this world.

Harry was a kind and quiet person. He was a pleasure to work with at Puget Sound Clean Air Agency. I will always appreciate him and will miss him. In the added pictures, Harry is on the far right in both pictures.

I also had the privilege of working with Harry at Puget Sound Clean Air Agency, (now Puget Sound Clean Air Agency) during my almost 30 years with the Agency. Harry was one of the Agency’s pioneers, always a delight, conscientious about his work and the mission of the Agency and friendly to everyone. I was always pleased to see him at the Agency holiday celebrations and recently during a lunch. My sincere condolences to Harry’s family. He will be missed!
