Harry R. Randall
Son of Harry Hoppy and Jane Randall born August 31st, 1920 in Seattle, Wash. Passed away Dec. 29th, 2009 at Stafford Health Center.
Harry graduated in 1939 from Highline High School. He was a World War II Veteran serving on the U.S.S. Admiral W.L. Capps, transporting troops and supplies. He was a Boat swan’s Mate 1st Class and a feather weight boxing champion of his ship. Some of his Coast Guard items have been donated to the Coast Guard Museum in Seattle. Harry worked for Baxter Pole Company until he retired.
Harry married Lorrayne Ross in 1946 they had a son, Dale H. Randall. Harry also acquired two stepchildren, John Ross and Mary Jo Ross -Perrin. That marriage ended in 1961. He married Donna Morrow in 1963 and acquired three stepchildren, Sharon Sprouse, Margi Mc Dougal, and Thomas Morrow. All together he had 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Harry was a great lover of the outdoors; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and hiking. He and Donna built a cabin at Lake Cle Elum. They enjoyed many summers at the cabin with friends and family. Donna passed away in 1986. Harry met with friends in Renton for lunch and breakfast for many years after retiring. Thank you for being such good friends and special thanks to Gene and Gordy.
He will be missed by family and friends .

Gene let us know about the death of his good friend Harry and we saw the obit in the paper this morning. Our condolences to you. We are neighbors at the cabin and plan to come to the memorial on Memorial Day weekend.
