Harry Williams, Jr. was born on May 28, 1947 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Evelyn Williams-Fischer and the late Harry Williams. He was the first of four children in the family. It was there at an early age he confessed his love for Christ at Mount Pleasant AME Church.

Harry lived his earlier years in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He graduated from Townsend Park High School and attended several years of college studies. Harry was an active service member of the United States Navy after college. He did his Navy service in the states of California and Texas. Upon completion of Navy duties, Harry went on to have a successful 30 year career with the General Motors car industry in Missouri, Kansas and Indiana. He retired from General Motors in Fort Wayne, Indiana and moved to Seattle, Washington for the next 15 years. Harry was a dedicated worker and had a fantastic work ethic. He would often say, he was happy and blessed to have a job with General Motors. With a strong work ethic, he maintained a 30 year perfect attendance.

Harry enjoyed watching sports and loved supporting the Seattle Seahawks football team. Harry was a great swimmer and basketball player, excelling as a good 3-point scorer. Harry also loved spending time with family and never missed visiting family each Christmas Holiday season.

Harry leaves to cherish his memory; three sisters: Janette Moore, Rubie Toney (Norman) and Anita Washington (Eddie); five nephews, Lautretz Moore (Cassandra), Steven Washington (Melanie), Philip Washington (Melissa), Brenton Washington, and Justin Washington, three great-nephews and two great-nieces, Andrew Moore, Alexander Moore, Luke Washington, Jade Washington, and Alyssa Moore. Harry also leaves a host of cousins and friends to mourn and celebrate his life.
