A close friend and very ggod partner on the ski slopes. He taught me much as I tried to teach him.
What a beautiful difference one single life made.
Thinking of you. Praying for you. Wishing you peace.
With Deepest Sympathy
I will remember Clay for his help with my computer. He fixed it so it would run again. He also looked after me when I needed help after moving into my new house in Federal Way. He was a generous person and will be missed.
Clay was a close friend and I will miss him terribly.
I have know Clay for several years. He was my brother in-law. I will miss him. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was a good person.
Having know Clay over these many years the things I will remember most about him are his smile and his laughter. He will be missed, but he will also be remembered by many and I am one of the many. He was a great guy.
My Dearest Aunt Kay… I am so sorry for your loss…. You and the family are in my thoughts and prayers… I will be with you in spirit on Wednesday during the services….
Love always,
Sandey

To my Dad,
Thank you for raising me to be the woman that I am. I will always be able to hear your voice in my own, when I speak to my children. Though I don’t think I will tell my daughter that “eating mustard will put hair on her chest” ….I am glad that that wasn’t true. When I was a teenager I didn’t understand why you put so many restrictions on me, but now that I am a parent myself….I GET IT!! Thank you for teaching me to ski, and then taking me and jeff and our friend up to the mountain every weekend. Thank you for building me my very own Ice skating rink in the back yard, and bob sled runs. I can honestly say that my childhood memories were good ones. I will always remember the Saturdays when mom had to work….you would always promise that if we could get our chores done by noon you would take us some where. It didn’t even have to be some place spectacular…I just enjoyed being with you. I am going to miss being able to just pick up the phone when ever I had a question, or needed your opinion on something. I still haven’t come to the realization that there isn’t a phone connection to where you are right now….and that is very hard for me to deal with. Even though I am a grown woman with my own family…I still need my daddy. I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH DAD…. AND I WILL ALWAYS MISS YOU!!! GOOD BYE DADDY!
Love, Jennifer
We want to extend our deepest
sympathy to you and your family for the loss of Clay.
Our thoughts and prayers are
with you all.
I still remember the fishing and camping trips. I remember Clay’s first big fish he caught when he was about 12 years old … a big 18″ Brown Trout. A fisherman nearby hit the trout on the head to kill it, and Clay put it in his creel. But it was still flopping. So he took it out of his creel and really gave it a workout. There was no flop left when he got through with it. Dad
When we were growing up in Oklahoma City, my brother was always the one Mother had to chase. He was the one who got lost in the super markets, or the one she had to find down in the swamp, hunting for tadpoles. He learned how to climb the fence, unknot the most complicated knots, and undo the most intricate buckles. His favorite spot was the “swamp” behind the house, where he hunted for tadpoles, or dug up worms. You could offer him candy, ice cream or any tidbit, and he wasn’t interested, but ask him if he would like to play in the worms, and he would say “E-Kay”. I will miss you brother. I love you. Sis
My thoughts and prayers are with Clay’s family and friends.
I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Clay’s family. Clay was my co-worker and friend. He was always sharing his funny stories to lighten the mood. And using his attention to detail to help me increase the quality of my work. When my daughter was born two years ago, Clay came to visit me and gave me two beautiful quilts that he and Kay had made for us. I am so grateful to have known such a kind man with a wonderful heart. My family’s prayers and thoughts are with you, Clay.
I have known Clay for years. We taught skiing together at Alpine West. I’ll never forget Buddies Clay & Jim making breakfast and offering some to me when I did’t bring mine. What I would like to forget is the way Clay and Jim could beat me down the hill when we raced!
I was a coworker of Clay’s and what I remember most were his perpetual smile, his infectious laughter, great sense of humor, willingness to help others, and his propensity for broken bones. You will be missed, Clay. To his family and friends I extend my deepest sympathy for the void his passing has left in your lives.
I am thinking of you and your
kids and am so sorry for your loss.
My dearest Kay, Jeffrey, and Jennifer … its always hard to lose the ones you love. I will remember Clay as a dear uncle who always knew the answers to all those questions i had about my pc. If i wasnt sure it would work he could make it work .. one way or another.
I never had the opportunity to ski with him, but loved listening to the stories he would tell about his adventures .. broken bones and all. I would think he would break another one just ” showing ” us how he done it !!
He will be missed by us all … my heart will be with you on Wednesday.
May God Bless you all and keep you safe.
Love you all
Rae
