Dear Pat and Cliff,

I just got back to Seattle and was so sad to read of your mom’s death. I will always remember that sweet smile she had and that soft little chuckle. She was always so welcoming to me and never sent us off unfed! I can just hear her saying “now Pat” when we’d be talking meanly about someone–she was a real sweetheart and truly one of a kind.

Please give me a call, I’d love to catch up with you and Cliff, reaching 65 has really made me think about my old friends alot. I am living in West Seattle now in my parent’s house. My Dad died in 1985, and my Mother in 1991 and both my siblings have passed on as well. I am so glad both the girls are close by!

Hope you are both well,

I miss my grandma……and think about her often. I can still hear her laugh and it makes me smile. I love you grandma Hazel!
