Helen Bumgarner Landre
Passed away November 10, 2008 in Seattle. She was born July 16, 1917 in Manson to Sylva and Howard Bumgarner. Preceded in death by her husband Vern in 1995; brothers Sherwin who was killed in WWII, Marion and Ray. Survived by niece Barbara Molt and nephews Lanny, Stanley and Howard Bumgarner. Longtime resident of Ballard. Her sparkling blue eyes and gentle smile will be forever missed. Informal gathering will be held, 1:00PM, Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Wiggen & Sons Funeral Home, 2003 NW 57th St., Seattle.
This is a lady that will surely be missed. My memories of her go back probably 50 years when she would babysit me in West Seattle and make me milk shakes. Now she is playing cards with my mom who has been waiting for her.
