Mom
I miss you so much already. Please tell me things will get better. You would always say “When things got rough, sometimes you gotta be tough.” She would always give us hope. think positive she would say. Things will turn out for the best. Give it your best shot. I received many gifts from my mom. First being the gift of life, how to comfort others and respect our elders, how to kick up our heels and cut a rug. maybe that came naturally. What I’ll miss most is getting one of her hugs. I loved the way she loved us, even when it wasn’t hugs and kisses.
Life for mom was not always kind. She suffered much. Through her strength she always perservered. Having six children to raise was surely her greatest task.
I am very grateful my mother survived as long as she did. She was always happy to see anyone of us. Her eyes would sparkle and she would glow when any of her great or grand-children would be close by you know.
My Mother was a beautiful, caring person both inside and out! I will cherish her always and she will be with me still as I gaze upon the glorious sunsets and the quite morning sunrises. She lives on through us and all our children & grandchildren. I pray that someday we will all be reunited again and when that happens…okay Erling, I’ll even try some lutefisk!! Until then, Lord pleae keep my Mother safe in your palestial home – Love and miss you Mom! Your loving and yes, still weird daughter Susie!
One never knows the effect you’ll have on the world…if it wasn’t for Helen, I wouldn’t be here. I’m so thankful she was put here on this earth and sorry it was time for her to go.
We know how hard it is to lose a mother, friend and confidant.Try and think of the memorable times together, her laughter, her hugs and smile. Her memory and love will become a treasure to cherish forever.
Love and miss you grandma! Give grandpa a big hug for me!!! xoxo jody
We love you grandma.
