Obituary

Helen Hedberg was born in Minneapolis, MN to Swedish immigrant parents. As a child she loved ice skating and won several awards for speed skating. She was a good friend of fellow speed skater Patty Berg who later became a PGA golf champion. She married Marvin Lund right after World War Two. Together they shared 66 years of marriage and travelled all over the world. Marvin preceded her into God’s presence by only 4 months. She loved her son, her adopted daughter Janet, and her grandchildren Derek, Karen, and Adam. She never talked about death, but instead focused on praying for the needs of others around her.
