Obituary
In His infinite wisdom, the Lord has completed the service of and called to himself Helen Malcom Williams. Helen departed this life December 24, 2008 in her home in Seattle Washington.
Helen was born in Social Circle, Georgia on August 19, 1933, the daughter of Martha Bickers and Wilbur Malcom. She was predeceased by her three brothers: Jesse of Moses Lake, Washington, Davenport of Atlanta, Georgia and Charles of Seattle, Washington.
Helen moved to the Pacific Northwest in the early 1950’s, where she raised her three sons: Eugene, Michael and Anthony. In 1965 Helen met the love of her life, Eugene Gray. Helen and Eugene enjoyed their life together to the fullest until his passing in 1993.
Helen will be remembered as a gracious and accepting person willing to help those in need, especially family members, raising three sons and later a nephew, Lamar Daniels, and a grandson Temujin Williams. Helen was a member of the A.A.R.P. receiving the American Spirit award for helping older Americans lead fuller and more productive lives.
We give thanks and praises to the Lord Most High for her heart being filled with love. We thank her, for being her.
Helen leaves, to cherish her memories, three sons Eugene Steward of Seattle, Washington, Michael Williams of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Anthony Williams of Seattle, Washington. As well, eight grand children, seven great grand children and a host of other relatives and friends throughout California, Illinois, Georgia, Washington, Malaysia and Alberta, Canada.
Dear Family of Helen Williams,
I am sorry about the loss of your loved one. Words cannot describe feelings in a time like this. Many have found comfort in the Bible’s promises of seeing our past loved ones again such as at John 5 verses 28 and 29. Take care of yourselves and keep memories of your past loved one close.
