HENRY ‘HANK’ FROLEN’
11/29/1922 to 12/31/2009
Passed on at the age of 87 the morning of December 31, 2009.
Born in Seattle, the third child of Frank and Anna Frolen.
Raised in Riverton and resided most of his life at Three Tree Point
With the last 12 years in Gig Harbor.
He enjoyed living and vacationing by the water, whether it be at Three Tree Point, Gig Harbor, Lake Chelan, or Ocean Shores.
After graduating from Foster High School, he joined the Navy and proudly served during World War II from 1942 to 1946 aboard the U.S.S. Corregidor. After being discharged, he returned to Seattle to begin his working career. After a short time at Kenworth Motors, Hank began a 36 year career as a Television/Stereo salesman for Sears. He was very proud of his numerous Sales Awards and once was honored with a Special Awards Dinner in Los Angeles, Ca. He enjoyed golfing but his personal avocation was performing and managing household projects. He and his loving partner Priscilla enjoyed travelling with his favorite destinations being Norway, Hawaii, Canada, and Switzerland. His favorite pastime was following college and professional sports.

Survived by his loving partner Priscilla Peterson, son Bill Kathy, granddaughter Julie Eland, grandson Bo Derek and great grandsons Jaimen and Tage. Loved Priscilla’s family as his own: Daughter Sue Barry, son Bruce Denise, son Steve Dawn and granddaughters: Lindsey, Heidi, Kalie, and grandsons: Justin, Rory, Dylan, and great grandson Thayer.
Family wishes any donations be made to a Food Charity or Franciscan Hospice of Gig Harbor.
Services will be January 6th at 2;30 at Washington Memorial Park in Sea Tac, Wa.
