Herbert Benjamin Anderson was born on April 28, 1945 and departed this life on July 5, 2010. Herbert was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and was a graduate of Garfield High School, class of 1963. He was the first born of nine children. His parents; Jake Benjamin and Mary Elizabeth Anderson and his brother Sidney Carl preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory: his two children Marla Jennifer Branch Eugene Jr. and Ryan Burwell Anderson; granddaughter Maya Jamell Branch; brother, David Thorpe Anderson and sisters: Rosemary Marshall Bobby, Sarah Ann Anderson-Smith Chris, Ruth Helen Roberson Rickie, Aileen Anderson, Robertha Overall John, and Elizabeth Jane Anderson; uncle, Rev. Dr. P.J. Anderson Jeanette, of Dominguez Hills, Ca., cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many who have known him as a lifelong resident of Seattle.
