“Uncle Herbie” was like a 2nd Father to me! I spent the night at their home with my cousin Nancy many a night growing up in the Burien area. No matter how busy Uncle Herbie was, he always made sure Nancy and I were tucked in safely before going to bed. “Did we need anything, he would say, ice cream perhaps?” He was just a big ol’ loving Teddy Bear! No matter how old I got, you got to give him a big hug every time you saw him! Right now he is looking down at all of us; huging us from above.

May our happy memmories of this dear Man take us far into the future.

I have known Herb for about 5 years now, since I married his niece. What I remember most is the constant smile he had on his face. No matter the pain he was in, he never complained and always smiled! I will miss him allot.
