Herbert “Herb” Henry Pollinger, Sr.

Major, USAF Retired

Herb passed away June 22, 2004 at Saint Francis Hospital in Federal Way. Born in Fall River, Mass. September 23, 1919, he had resided in the Federal Way area since 1967. He was a loving husband and father and had served our country for 25 years. A graduate of the University of Washington, he worked as a logistics engineer for the Boeing Co.

He is survived by Mary, his wife of 57 years, five children, Hank Peggy of Springfield, MO, Mark Cris of Tucson, AZ, Ed Pam of Federal Way, WA, Molly of Jacksonville, FL David Robin of Wellston, OH, siblings, Harold, Bob, Audrey of CA, eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous relative and friends.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at Nine Lakes Baptist Church, 1636 South 330th St., Federal Way, 253 838-4080. Graveside services to be held 11:30 am Thursday, July 1, 2004 at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, 18600 SE 240th St., Kent, WA 98042 425 413-9614.
