So sorry about your loss. We are praying for your family. In high school some friends and I stayed in Washington with Herb and Adeline and had a great time. I wish we had had more times together.

Take care at this difficult time.

Uncle Herb: Miles between us kept me from getting to know you very well, but I feel that I know you vicariously from Mom and Dad’s visits to Washington. I always thought of you every time I saw the Space Needle because I saw the pictures that Mom and Dad took when you led them on a tour before it even opened. And I remember them talking about all the Washington places you took them to see, one of those being Leavenworth. Thanks for all you did for Mom and Dad.

Your niece, Judy Beckman

Family,

My heart goes out to you as you say this profound goodbye. His life was certainly well-lived; you are the evidence of that. I hope you celebrate everything that was and that you not suffer what is no more.

Everytime I think of your family, I think of our cottage and your visits there. Good memories. Lee
