Herbert R. Johnson is survived by his wife Jennie, daughter Judy, sons Dale and Ron and their families. Numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, his brother Harold, and two sisters Frances and Phyllis.

Herb Johnson was one of the most exceptional people I have ever known, and I was proud to call him a friend. His knowledge of, and devotion to, his trade was phenomenal. Although he could be a stern taskmaster, he was at heart kind and generous almost to a fault. There will never be another like him, and we will all miss him deeply.

He gave to all of us in so many ways – his creations & talent in sheet metal design & fabrication, his practical & unique methods of addressing and resolving situations to his most precious gift of friendship and teaching. I am saddened to learn my dear friend Herb is no longer with us. He was such a talented craftsman and legend in the sheet metal industry.
