Obituary
Herbert R. Johnson is survived by his wife Jennie, daughter Judy, sons Dale and Ron and their families. Numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, his brother Harold, and two sisters Frances and Phyllis.
Jennie and Family,
Herb Johnson was one of the most exceptional people I have ever known, and I was proud to call him a friend. His knowledge of, and devotion to, his trade was phenomenal. Although he could be a stern taskmaster, he was at heart kind and generous almost to a fault. There will never be another like him, and we will all miss him deeply.

Jennie & Family –
What an honor it has been to have Herb in our lives; his memory lives on in all of us. He gave to all of us in so many ways – his creations & talent in sheet metal design & fabrication, his practical & unique methods of addressing and resolving situations to his most precious gift of friendship and teaching. Thank you for sharing him with us; Know that we too share in your loss.
To Jennie and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Herb was a good friend and a person with so many talents. His ability to design, build and fabricate in so many mediums, from wood, to photography, to metal, to the stories he told, will be dear to all who knew him.
John and Wanda Wagner and his friends, sisters and brothers of Local 66.
To Herb’s family:
I am saddened to learn my dear friend Herb is no longer with us. He was such a talented craftsman and legend in the sheet metal industry. His love for life and for “projects” was an inspiration for all. I will miss his warm smile and interesting stories. He is a piece of my history too. My condolences to his lovely wife and his extended family.
Sincerely,
