Herman Freeman, Jr.

Herman was born January 10, 1916 in Suffolk, Virginia. He died December 1, 2005 in Auburn, WA at the age of 89. Herman was a long time employee for the City of Seattle Water Dept. Herman is survived by his niece Delores Newsome; god-children Ollie Dixon, Phyllis Nettles, Bruce Dixon, Tracy Dixon, Scott Dixon and a host of other relatives back east. He was preceded in death by his wife Lucile Freeman in 1987. Visitation Sunday, December 4th, 12:00 – 5:00pm at Bonney-Watson Federal Way, 1535 SW Dash Pt. Rd. 253 839-7317. Graveside Service Monday, December 5th at 11:00am at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Park, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA. Memorials may be made in Herman’s memory to the American Red Cross, 1900 25th Ave. S., P.O. Box 24325, Seattle, WA 98124-4325.

Herman and Lucile were friends of my mother Alice. We often attended church service at Lucile’s request. Looking through my late mother’s pictures, I came across many of both Herman and Lucile. May the both R.I.P. with The Lord Jesus.
