Horace Lynn Starr
Horace was born February 11, 1917 in Colville, Washington to Horace and Alice Artman Starr. Horace is survived by his wife of 60 years, Cecilia L.M. Starr; son Steven O. Starr; two brothers Frank and his wife Minda Starr and Sydney and his wife Mary Starr; sister Carol and her husband Hugh Gillenwater; three grandchildren Kenneth Mano Starr, Kevin Kamano Starr and Michele Melani; two great-grandchildren Lene Leilani Starr and Casey Starr; niece Michelle Kronlund. He was preceded in death by his daughter Leilani Larsen. Graveside services will be at a later date at Washington Memorial. Arrangements are under the direction of Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98188.
Horace and Celia, raised Kevin, after Kevin lost his mother and they lost their daughter. The first time I met Horace, he told me how proud he was of Kevin and how much he and Celia loved him.
He also told me He married Celia even tho the Church in West Seattle wouldn’t let them, he had such love & determination he did anyway!!!
Horace Lynn Jr. “Horrible Horace” was a great individual, a strong bond for his family and loved ones. He was proud to be married for 60 years. Was a Honolulu police officer. Build homes, and did a variety of projects. He is missed, Other grandchildren he was not able to meet was Ryder Brandon Kronlund, Kalie Lei Kronlund, and Kyler Isaac Kronlund
