Hua Sun Tatsuyoshi, 93

Hua Sun Tatsuyoshi, 93 left us to be with her family on Saturday, December 23, 2017.

Hua Sun was born on August 10, 1924, in Haeju-Si, Korea. Hua Sun was preceded in death by her parents, Hwa Chang and Ngo Suk. Hua Sun met her husband Wilfred K. Tatsuyoshi and moved to Honolulu, Hawaii. Wilfred predeceased her in 1976.

Hua Sun enjoyed cooking and visiting with her family and friends.  She enjoyed watching the Seattle Mariners and went to several games (even stayed past midnight for a game) and even made it to a few Seattle Sonics games at the Key Arena.  She loved sitting in the sun and relaxing.  She is survived by her daughter, Terry (Scott) Tatsuyoshi-Beck of Tacoma; son, Man Sik Park (Kyong Ae); grandson, Daniel of Seattle; granddaughter, Nelly (Will) of Post Falls; Diana (Jake) of Seattle; Alec of Tacoma; 3 great-grandchildren Cadin, Malia, Oliver; 2 surviving sisters Young Soon of New York; Hea Joon (Ki Won) of Poulsbo; niece Angela (Mike) of Seattle; nephew George of Poulsbo.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Bonney-Watson Federal Way Chapel, 1535 SW Dash Point Road, Federal Way, WA 98023

The first time I met your mom was when Alec was born. She had a warmth & kindness that I will never forget. She will be missed by so many. We send our love & condolences to all of her family.
