Ida Leone Baumgart
March 5, 1922 – September 1, 2013.
91 years young, Ida was a native Seattle resident; a wonderful daughter, a devoted, loving and caring wife, and an involved mother. Her faith was important to her. From her girlhood friends to her later-in-life friends; her gracious spirit and contagious smile will be missed. She grew up on Beacon Hill, attended Franklin High School and the University of Washington. Respected and loved by all who knew her. She had a zest for life, a love of people and was a good friend to all. Preceded in death by her mother Ida, her father Carl, her husband Harold and her cousins Herman and Marie Rose.
Survived by her daughters Diana Baumgart, Judith Douglas, Beverly Baumgart of Grayland, cousins Marcia and Marie Green of Seattle and sister-in-laws Henrietta and Marilyn and their families. Services will be held at 12:30 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial.
