Irene Vivian BURKE

1917 – 2002, passed away peacefully at Mercer Island Care Center. Irene grew up in Renton and attended Renton High School. She married Cleve Burke and worked at the Seattle Worlds Fair and J.C. Penny in Seattle. Irene enjoyed her family and her many years with her J.C. Penny gang. She will be missed dearly. Preceded in death by her husband Cleve. Beloved mother of her two daughters Donna Dick Sherman and Diann Ron Lombardo; grandmother of four wonderful grandchildren, Todd, Tammy, Kim and Noël; great-grandmother of four darling great-grandchildren and sister of Merle Johnson. Memorials may be sent to the charity of your choice.

I’m sorry to hear Mrs. Burke had passed away. She was our next door neighbor on Beacon Hill. She was soo friendly and always nice to us.

We will greatly miss Mr. and Mrs. Burke.

Your mother will be greatly missed by her friends. I particularily remember our great times in Reno with the girls.
